Using My Blueprint and others sources, you are to identify 5 potential career paths you feel may be a good fit for you.

Under the 'Work' tab in My Blueprint click 'Occupations'. Under the section title 'Career Cluster', click on the 'View More' text. From there, you can see the different career pathways. Under each pathway there are endless jobs profiled.
In google and youtube you can simply type in 'Pros and Cons of..." and you get additoanl information.
Each career should have at least 5 pros and 5 cons.
You should spend at least 30 min researching for each career.

Top Career Exploration: (__/5)
After selecting your top choice for a potential career path, you are to delve deeper into the profession. You should spend roughly 5 classes compiling your research (Pictures, Videos, Graphs etc).
Questions to consider for your career exploration (These are simply a guide, add your own as you see need).
1.) What specific courses in HS do you need to be eligible for your career choice, if any?
2.) Education needed after HS?
3.) Where can one go in NB, Atlantic Canada for this education, and what is the top school in Canada?
4.) What are the dangers of the job?
5.) What does a general day look like?
6.) Salary? Compare what other provinces pay.
7.) Job Security?
8.) Opportunity for advancement?
9.) Require Travel?
10.) Vacation Time?
11.) What is the work environment like?
12.) What are the demands mentality / physically?
13.) Social Interactions?
14.) Pension / Retirement savings? Does the job have a Pension, or pay into RRSP’s for you?
15.) How is Technology used in this career?
16.) How will technology change over the next 10/20 years in relation to this career?

Mini Doc: (__/20)
You are to create a 4-5 minute documentary about the career path
you seleted

Your video will be developed from the questions above on your top career.

1/3 of your project needs to be of you talking, either voice over or in front of camera

1/3 needs to be pictures with text and with music.

1/3 needs to be supporting videos you find on-line. There should be at least 2 clips from videos. These should be clips and not the whole video. Each clip no more then 30/45 secs.

It would help if you were able to interview someone in the field or with a student currently enrolled into the program or just recently into the workforce.

There should be transitions and effects added to your video.
